Intramural Sports
Within the Intramural Volleyball competition at the University of
Southampton, I am playing in the "Random Collection" team.
The Random Collection 2006/2007 (incomplete):
We became
2nd in 2001/2002, first in 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 and 2004/2005, second in 2005/2006, and again first in 2006/2007. Here are the

University B-Team
The university's B team takes part in the Southampton And District
Volleyball Association (SADVA) league. Here is picture of the bunch

Dark past
Here is some evidence that (in the time of black and white photographs
???) I could jump and build up tension ...
...even though releasing the energy appears to happen slightly
unbalanced on the next hit (because the left arm is not in the air as
the coach keeps telling me). Note that the second picture is another
attack - the camera could not be rewound soo quickly.)
Notice also the fashionable shorts that used to be hip in the
