OpenDreamKit: Open Digital Research Environment Toolkit for the Advancement of MathematicsA consortium of universities and companies with interest in computational mathematics and computational science work together on open source solutions to research needs in academia and industry. The grant proposal was developed on github in full openness, and all commits, contributions and changes are available. The final pdf is available here. Hans Fangohr's group is using and extending the Jupyter Notebook to provide a simulation environment for computational micromagnetics. This is a useful contribution to the field of micromagnetism and at the same time an exploration of the possibilities and effectiveness improvements that can be achieved through workflow tools such as the Jupyter Notebook.
